DNSSEC Overview

The DNS infrastructure consists of geographically distributed computing and communication entities. The DNSSEC: DNS Security Extensions, is a set of extensions to DNS, which provide origin authentication of DNS data, data integrity, and authenticated denial of existence. DNS is a distributed computing system that is susceptible to platform, software, and network-level vulnerabilities.
